2 Car Crash 6th and Peoria Sends at least 2 to hospital

Aurora, CO 03/05/19 – A 2 vehicle crash occurred after 9PM on this date at the intersection of E. 6th Ave. and North Peoria St.  At least 2 male victims were transported by ambulance to a local hospital after the crash.  Numerous Aurora cops were on the scene investing the accident.  A passenger car landed about 100 yards north of the intersection in a depression after the crash.  A passenger van with moderate damage remained in the intersection.  6th Ave. was closed in both directions at Peoria St. as Aurora police investigated the crash.  No information was provide by APD regarding the accident although this reporter noted extra police presence of officers as well as several unmarked police cars at the crash scene.  Shane Anthony reporting for ColoradoNews1.com

Denver serious injury motorcycle vs. car crash 4900 block Brighton Blvd. 02/25/17

02/25/17 Denver, CO – Denver police traffic investigators were called this evening to the scene of a serious injury motorcycle vs. car accident in the 4900 block of Brighton Blvd.  around 7PM on this date.  Denver traffic investigators known as “Tom-Cars” were busy photographing the scene when this reporter arrived on the scene.  A motorcycle on its side and a van were surrounded by yellow evidence markers on the pavement.  At least one individual was transported lights and siren to a local hospital by ambulance.  Denver “Tom-Cars” are typically called out for accidents involving serious bodily injury or death to the crash victims.  District  2 cops were slammed in a short time frame around the motorbike accident.  At about the same time as the motorcycle crash, DPD cops also responded several blocks north of that scene to Brighton Blvd. and N. Columbine St. on a report of a Chevy Suburban stuck on railroad tracks.  In that incident a train had to be stopped while a tow truck removed the stuck vehicle from its path.  Shane Anthony reporting ColoradoNews1.com

Aurora car into house crash E. Kentucky Ave. and S. Norfolk St.

02/15/17 Aurora, CO – Around 8:30PM this evening Aurora Fire Rescue received a report of a car into a house accident in the 16400 block of E. Kentucky Ave.  Upon arrival fire command reported a residence with a car partially into the garage.  One person was transported by ambulance to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries as a result of the crash.  The fire department spent a couple hours shoring up the house with support timbers as a main structural beam had been damaged in the incident.  Aurora police and a building inspector were on the scene of the crash.  It is not know to us as of this posting why the car crashed into the house in the first place.  Shane Anthony reporting ColoradoNews1.com
